KeyAlarm turns calendar events into real alarms that ring through Silent mode and Focus — built on iOS 26 AlarmKit, now in 8 languages —

Lightning LLC (Tokyo) today announced that KeyAlarm, an iPhone app built on Apple's new AlarmKit framework in iOS 26, is now available worldwide in eight languages: English, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German and French. It is one of the first apps to ship on AlarmKit.

01The problem: notifications are just banners

Calendar notifications are easy to miss. They are silenced by the mute switch, hidden by Focus modes, and dismissed with a single swipe. "It was in my calendar, I just didn't see the notification" is one of the most common ways people miss a lesson, a meeting or a train.

iOS 26 introduced AlarmKit, which for the first time lets third-party apps schedule alarms with the same standing as the built-in Clock app: full-screen, audible through Silent mode and Focus, and ringing until the user stops them.
